To report picked-up containers, Suppliers and Users can open the Leasing deal and click on the Report pickup button in the middle of the page:
You will then be able to choose how to report the picked-up containers:
- Manually: one container after the other
- Reporting multiple containers (in bulk): multiple ones at a time.
How can I report containers manually (one at a time)?
If you choose to report containers manually you will need to fill in the following fields:
- Release reference
- Container number
- Source: Specify if this is being reported by the User or the Supplier.
- Pickup date.
After you have filled out the requested fields:
- Click on the + Add Container button
- You can then review the data you just entered, and you can edit it if needed.
- If the information is correct, you can then finalize the process by clicking on
Add as picked-up
How can I report containers in Bulk?
If you choose to report containers in bulk, you will be able to either drag and drop a file containing pick-up information or copy-paste the containers’ pickup data into the free field box. (Please provide both the unit numbers and the picked up dates, also the release reference number if there is more than one release in the deal).
- You can check the data you just entered, and delete it if any correction is needed.
- To complete the process you will need to click on the Add as picked-up button.
- Once this information is added, your partner on the deal will be informed automatically.
Important notes:
- Our team needs to manually process the reported bulk data, so it may take some time for it to be updated on the deal page.
- Please don’t report repeatedly if the data does not show up immediately.
- If you notice the data has not been updated after 1 day, please request @Support in the deal's chat.
- Only use this function to provide pick-up data. For any other documents (like EIRs), you should upload them in the Documents section.
Why is it so important to report pick-up dates?
Reporting pick-up dates in the app allows you to:
- Get a centralized overview of the whereabouts of your containers.
- Having your wallet updated in real-time flow, you will receive the PUC in your wallet only with all units reported as picked up.
- Get the storage fees calculated correctly (if applicable).
- Reduce redundant work during the invoicing process - no more invoice errors!
