What is the difference between storage and cancellation fees in Leasing?

What are storage fees?

These fees apply when units are picked up after the initial 14-day free storage period following the creation of the Release Reference.

If the containers are not picked up within this period, storage fees will apply. The calculation for storage fees is based on the quantity of containers, agreed storage fees, and the duration beyond the free storage period.

What are cancellation fees?

These fees are charged to the canceling partner (it could be the user or the supplier) when they request a full or partial cancellation of the container quantity.

The cancellation fees are clearly stated in the terms of the leasing deal, and it’s a total of 50 USD per canceled container.
