The unit limit is the number of containers that a company can lease in at any given time on xChange.

It is important to note that the Unit Limit is not affected by the containers you provide as a Supplier, this number is determined by the number of containers you lease in as a User.

- The unit limit considers containers in leasing deals that are Accepted, Ready for Pickup, and Picked up.

When a company joins xChange, they have to provide the following documents to be eligible for a limit assessment:
- Valid business registration
- Certified/stamped bank account balance for the last 3 months
- Audited financial reports including the last fiscal year
- If the company is younger than 6 months old or non-logistics company: Trade references and supporting documentation
- Valid business registration

The initial unit limit is determined by the Risk Team after a review of the above-mentioned documents shared by the company.
- The Unit limit can be decreased or increased over time based on multiple factors related to the ongoing and historical financial and operational performance.

Not supplying any of the required documents will result in, the company forfeiting the limit review and an automatic limit of 0 being applied.

- The unit limit is in place to limit individual companies’ exposure to the overall network and to ensure that xChange is a safe place for all its members.
