Unexpected Charges:
From time to time it can happen that you encounter unexpected charges that your partner should be bearing. For example: Chinese depots sometimes charge gate fees/handling fees to the user's trucker directly - while the Multiparty Agreement defines that all depot charges are on the supplier's account.
In such cases, please raise this in the deal chat making sure to use the mention feature to tag '@support' and upload supporting documents/invoices. The xChange service team will evaluate this claim and determine whether your partner is really liable to bear those costs. If the answer is "yes", those costs will be settled directly through the wallet.
New Charges Agreed in a Deal:
Any additional charges that may occur in a specific transaction (i.e. Depot Charges, Drop-off Fees, Repairs, etc) can be settled via the xChange Wallet. Just make sure that this is discussed in the deal chat or keep service@container-xchange.com in “cc”. As soon as the partner agrees with the charge, we will settle through the Wallet. Such credit/charges will be always added as per the day it was accepted by the partner, and will be part of the respective billing period.
