SCLA | How do we calculate the Storage fees? 

• Units that are Picked Up after the stated 14 free days will have to pay for the applicable storage fees.

• The formula for calculating Storage Fees of Cancelled Units:

  •  Canceled unit quantity x Agreed Storage fees $$$ x Days after the Free Period
    
    

    • How do we calculate the Days after the Free Period?

    • Canceled date - minus the Release created date - minus 14 free days
      
      

• The formula for calculating Storage fees:
  • Quantity of Picked up Containers x Agreed storage fees $$$ x Days after the Free Period
    
    
    • How do we calculate the Days after the Free Period?

    • Release created date- minus Pick up date - minus 14 free days

For Example

• If a release was provided on June 22

• The unit FOSU2008473 was picked up on July 19th we will take these 2 dates to calculate the Days after the Free Period:
  • 19/07/2023 - 22/06/2023 = 27 days
  • 27 Days - minus 14 free day period =13 days

Final calculation

• 1 late-picked-up Container * $2.5 Storage fees * 13 Days after the Free Period =
  • $32.5 Storage fees
