To avoid later issues it is always important that you check the container condition prior to picking up the container (s). Failing to do so can create many issues - the least of all administrative and extra expenses.
- If you have any specific requirements on the container condition, always discuss this with the supplier beforehand, or leave your requirements in the additional notes field on the request.
- In case you already agreed on a specific condition you still need to check the container before/while picking it up.
You can check the container condition yourself or by using our survey service which can be booked directly through our request page or by contacting email@example.com. We strongly advise that this survey is booked ahead of time.
For more information on our surveying services, you can check: https://help.container-xchange.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004847818-How-can-I-request-a-survey-
Importantly, xChange’s responsibility is to support you in finding containers that match what you have requested (i.e. specified container condition) as the user you or your truck-driver must carefully check in person whether these conditions have been met.
Opting to pick-up up the containers implies that the containers are in the correct condition and that you accept the state that they are in. Therefore, any returns from this point would be the users' financial responsibility.
If the containers do not meet the required conditions you do not have to pick them up and you should inform firstname.lastname@example.org or use the @support feature in the request chat for prompt support.
