4.4. What types of insurance are offered?

To simplify the damage claim process on the xChange platform we offer two main insurance plans, which can be further tailored for the specific needs of our customers. The overall process of claiming damage refunds can be found here.

We offer two main types of insurance packages:

1. Basic Insurance is an insurance plan which protects the User from the potential Total Loss or Mysterious Disappearance of their containers. The User can apply for the Insurance Refund for the affected units if their claim fulfils certain criteria, described in the Insurance Policy. 2. Premium insurance is an insurance plan, which protects the User from the potential Total Loss or Mysterious Disappearance of their containers as well as guarantees the IICL inspection and the insurance refund for all Impact Damages on the affected units, which are higher than the set Insurance Deductible. The units will be inspected by IICL certified surveyors and all the amounts will be settled in the wallet. You may find more information on this insurance plan following this link.
