How can I request a pay-out from xChange?

Why is this important?

We want to make sure all clients have a frictionless experience when requesting and receiving a payout from their xChange Wallet to their bank accounts.

In this article, we want to clarify the standard process for the payouts of your positive balance or for a specific trading deal (in case you sold containers recently).

Oneway Leasing

You can request a payout of the positive balance in your xChange Wallet to your bank account any day of the week (fully, or partially) after you have received the monthly invoice from us.

What do we mean by that? 

• Monthly invoices are issued when the month in turn is completed. These are sent by the 7^th of every month that follows. 
  
  • For example, credits related to January's activity can only be released after the 7^th of February, after the receipt of your monthly invoice. 
    
• Please note that payouts of your positive wallet balance can only be processed after the send-out of the monthly invoices.
  
• The reason for this is that many changes due to late PU/DO data reporting can still happen prior to you receiving your invoice.

Trading

You can request the payout of a trading deal to your bank account via the ‘Request payout’ button on the toolbar of the deal page after you have uploaded the release(s).

Please select the release reference for which you would like to request a payout to your bank account. 

After you requested the payout, you will see the record.

Due to the buyer protection policy, the payout will be made 7 days after the release is created and it is subject to a positive wallet balance on that day.

***IMPORTANT! If you would like to request a payout to your bank directly, please request it within 14 days after the release reference is created.***

• If you don't request it within 14 days, the credits will be kept in your wallet.
• After the release reference is created for 14 days, please email payments@container-xchange.com with the subject ''DEAL ID: Bank Payout''to request a payout.
• If you request a payout within 14 days and you have a positive wallet balance, the payout will be made on a daily basis. (we can only proceed with it 7 days after the release is created.) Our finance team will inform you on the chat.

• If you request a payout within 14 days but you don't have a positive wallet balance, the credits will be kept in your wallet. In case of any questions, please email payments@container-xchange.com with the subject ''DEAL ID: Bank Payout''.

Process of Requesting a Payout

Important: before requesting a payout, please go to the wallet and check the Account Statements. Make sure you have a positive balance in your wallet.

Please note that it usually takes 5-10 banking days for the payment to reach your bank account, depending on the country and respective bank.
