If you would like to add a request you have done outside the platform with a non-xChange member, then activate the Add external partner toggle. You are then able to choose from companies created in the past for Assisted transactions in the drop-down menu. In the drop-down, you can also search for company names directly. If you can't find the company you are looking for, find the instructions on how to add an external company that is not on the list here.
Once you have found the company you are looking for, you will be asked to provide contact details, including name and email to a person in the company that you want to add.
Once you have added your partner with the company name and email, click the Next: Add Details button on the bottom right of the page. Here you add the pick-up and drop-off locations that are involved with your deal together with equipment type, how many of said equipment type and what condition they are in. Once completed, click Next: Add terms. Here you can add what terms you have agreed upon with your partner for that deal.
After you have added the terms previously agreed with your partner, create your Assisted Request by clicking the Create Assisted Request button in the bottom right of the slide-out. Your Assisted request is now created and will show up in your Request overview page. Your partner has also been notified that you have created the request between the two of you. This request is already considered accepted once you create it. Both you and your partner will be able to interact in the request as your external partner has received a link via the email you stated that allows them to access this request. The remaining of the platform is still out-of-bounds to the partner you added.
