How do I add my ratings and reviews from xChange partners onto my own website?

What is an embed code?

An embed code is an HTML code text that you can add to your webpage or email signature. This allows you to have dynamic images that display your public profile, your xChange rating or to encourage your partners to review you on xChange. This is a great way of spreading the message that you are a high-performing member of xChange!

1. Add a rating to your website: 

You can add your own xChange rating to your website with the steps below. If you are not well-versed in IT topics, please involve your webmaster.

Step 1 - Generate a text snippet:

Go to your Share Profile page under your company profile. There you will find the HTML embed code text snippet. This text snippet is generated specifically for your company. There are two different text snippets; One for text snippets for webpages and one for email signatures. 

See below for example what the text snippet looks like.

Step 2 - Copy the embed code:

Just click Copy to clipboard and the code can be directly pasted into any HTML text field. This means you can add your xChange badge to any webpage you wish. 

2. Add your rating to your email signature:

You can add your own xChange rating to your email signature with the steps below. If you are not well-versed in IT topics, please involve your webmaster.

Step 1 - Download the image

To download the image, find the dropdown menu called Format. Select Static image. Once selected, you will find the Download image button beneath the drop-down.

Step 2 - Editing your email signature

Start with opening your email provider.

• For Outlook: Open a New Email and then select Signature > Signatures.
• For Gmail: Open your settings and then go to Signature

Step 3 - Add an image to your signature 

In the settings of your signature, find the add image button. This button can look different from different email providers. Once you click the image, find the downloaded picture in the location you saved it. Select it to add it to the signature.

Step 4 - Link your image to your public profile  

On your company profile where you downloaded the picture, you will a link to your public profile. Click Copy to clipboard to fetch the link. Then go to your signature and add the link to the image by right-clicking the image and click Link. Paste the link under the address to link the image with your public profile.
