What is the difference between Standard payment and  Premium Payment?

We offer two new payment methods on the Ocean Freight Marketplace to cater to different customer preferences.

Standard Payment Method

When you place a booking you will automatically receive an invoice. You can complete the payment through any of the following options:

  1. xChange Wallet balance
  2. Bank transfer
  3. Credit card

To ensure your booking, please complete the payment before the sailing date (ideally as soon as possible). If the payment is not received the shipment will not be booked, and we cannot proceed with the shipping. If a normal bank transfer is not possible, you can reach out to the ocean freight team for support and we will try to assist you as best as possible.

If you completed payment via a bank transfer, kindly make sure to share the proof of payment through the upload of a bank slip. There is no additional cost for the Standard payment.

Once the payment is received, credits will be added to the user's wallet, which will be used to settle the debit invoice related to the booking. On the other hand, if the user chooses to make a prepayment (Wallet Top-up) exceeding the booking value, a proforma invoice will be issued

Premium Payment Method

  • The Premium payment method provides a credit option, granting some of our buyers an extended period of +30 days for the completion of payment (starting the day the invoice is issued).
  • The debit invoice will be issued to the user at the end of the month in which the booking was placed.
  • In case the vessel's date is at the beginning of the month you will have up to 60 days for the invoice to be paid.
